Wolf Induction Stove Guide
Learn how to safely and effectively use the induction stove.
Quick Guide
Unlocking the Stove
Important: The stove has a safety lock feature.
To unlock: Press the unlock button on the stove top for 7 seconds
You must unlock the stove before you can use any cooking zones.
How Induction Works
Key Point: The stove heats the pots and pans, not the stove top itself.
Induction cooking uses electromagnetic energy to heat cookware directly. This means:
- The cooktop remains relatively cool
- Only magnetic cookware will work
- Heating is very efficient and responsive
Cookware Requirements
Compatible Cookware
You must use magnetic (induction-compatible) cookware:
- Cast iron
- Magnetic stainless steel
- Cookware labeled “induction compatible”
Testing Your Cookware
Hold a magnet to the bottom of your pan. If it sticks firmly, it will work on the induction stove.
Incompatible Cookware
These will NOT work:
- Aluminum
- Copper (unless induction-ready)
- Glass
- Non-magnetic stainless steel
Operating Instructions
Starting a Cooking Zone

Safety Features
Auto-Lock
The stove will automatically lock after a period of inactivity for safety.
Overheat Protection
If a zone gets too hot, it will automatically reduce power or shut off.
Pan Detection
The stove will only activate when compatible cookware is present.
Residual Heat Indicator
Even though the cooktop doesn’t get as hot as traditional stoves, zones that were recently used will show a residual heat warning.
Cooking Tips
Benefits of Induction
- Faster heating than gas or electric
